Would be interesting to see what energy would thrive if there where no subsidies, as I know fossil fuels get a lot.

They can thrive in the context of the Trump admin’s stupid policies… because the overall context of what Trump is doing is so disastrous it will cause electricity prices to spike. So even with the loss of subsidies and increased permitting difficulty, renewables will still end up being preferable.

Wait I know this one, somewhere in the world the sun shines, wind blows and rain falls 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Without fail almost like it’s part of a natural system that requires absolutely zero input to harness it’s energy.
