
US solar plant construction is on a record-breaking spree — for now. Developers race to complete installations before Trump’s policy changes pull the rug out from under the industry. Solar thus will contribute more than half of the expected 64 gigawatts of new power capacity additions this year.

It’s interesting that the industry professionals responsible for keeping the lights on and making the financial decisions are almost exclusively building wind, solar and batteries for new grid capacity. Yet the MAGA morons with zero expertise know that they’re “unreliable”, “bad for the environment” and “too expensive”. Who do we trust?
