Trump tried to convince deported workers to stay and train Americans following ICE raid on Hyundai battery plant. Hundreds of South Korean engineers and contractors, here to train American workers, were shackled and detained. South Korea chose to bring ‘exhausted and in-shock’ workers home instead.

  1. The best part is of course is that business has to go on. The first thing I would do is send a huge team of Americans to South Korea so continue the tech transfer. Who really wins in that scenario??

  2. Completely shows the disfunction of this admin. DHS goes maximalist on its enforcement spree, affecting a major international economic investment that precisely fits what Trump espouses, while people like Bessent and Lutnick were out of the loop. And now Trump has to beg South Korea to continue building this plant. The wheels have come off.
