Cagliari77 on September 17, 2025 12:19 pm Same reason Libya, Iraq, Iran, Nigeria etc. having huge reserves of oil and/or gas but majority of people being poor for decades. Having natural resources does not mean the revenue from them is distributed to the people of the country by the ones in power.
