The national guard is coming this week. Our very boot-licking MAGA governor said the national guard is not allowed to detain or search. Any crimes, they have to report to local police. No one in my city is even stressed about this because we saw how it played out DC.
They’re blowing their load too early, like usual. ANY competent fascist would have staged false flag events THEN sent the military in. They just made up lies and sent the military in. You have to instill fear first. The only people who think crime in Memphis is scary are people who don’t live here. The guard in Washington DC got bored. The ones in Memphis will get bored. This creates a culture where no one takes the military seriously. Which is the opposite of what Trump is trying to do.

The problem with putting “large parts of the US under military control” is pretty simple.
Where you going to get the military?
There are a hair over 2 million people in the U.S. military right now – and that includes not just active duty but all the Guard and all the reserves.
If you give up basically every other mission, dock the navy, ground the air force, pull out of every foreign base the US has, and hand everyone either a gun or a job sustaining people on the street with guns, you might manage to get a full million out there on domestic order duty to start putting into American cities.
Assuming half the population doesn’t care or is outside a coverage area or is too old or too young for it to matter to them, they’d be outnumbered only around 170 to 1.
That’s not impossible odds for a straight up police mission – the NYPD is outnumbered by New Yorkers about 160 to 1. But it’s really bad odds for enforcing Trumpism.
