(Flashing lights warning) Compilation of drone footage from both sides of the Myanmar (Burma) Civil War [2024-September 2025; music and effects from source)
For further context, much of the anti-junta drone footage comes from Tanintharyi Region, the Dry Zone, along with the Karen and Karenni States. The PDFs and ethnic militias are doing offensives and counteroffensives. The junta footage mostly comes from Shan State (some of which is TNLA territory), Rakhine State (Arakan), and pro-junta ethnic militias like the Pa-O National Army and Lisu forces. The junta has adapted to drone warfare and there’s heavy use during their offensives; unfortunately, they are a factor in the junta’s recent victories in Shan State and bordering regions.
Also, the forces on the ground at 2:41-4:10 are Northeast Indian insurgents from the Naga and Meitei groups. They are used as mercs by the junta.
