If they plan on having another “No Kings” protest, they should give it the energy of an actual protest this time and not a carnival like the last one. While I am definitely not encouraging riots or violence in this post, peaceful protests hit harder when they disrupt important events. Everyone standing around and having a good time simply doesn’t cut it.

we are at a government shutdown right now. if that doesnt stop trump and people still bow to him and eventually cave in to his demands protests wont do a thing not to mention the whole military marines army air force and so on thing from yesterday

Oh goodie, another festival “protest” held on a convenient Saturday in the middle of the month where everyone gets together for fun and music and then politely goes home as night falls with the sense of satisfaction at accomplishing nothing that defines the modern American Liberal.

There shouldnt be an end time to the protest. A protest is effective when you refuse to go home until they give you what you asked for. It needs to be a bargaining tool, which shows the power the citizens still hold.
