  1. Imagine being a general with 30+ years of experience and having to listen to this guy

How the hell didn’t every single one of those Generals not collectively get up, surround Hegseth and Trump, and physically remove them from office?

  3. pete hegseths speech reminded me of a less intimidating version of hopper the main grasshopper villain from bugs life lmao

Agreed, but he thinks he’s crushing it and has convinced his boss that’s true as well. Oddly enough, when he said the FAFO line, when he ended his speech and when Trump walked out, you could see him starting to get that he, at least on this day, failed miserably. He face when he ended was one of pure deflation. Trump just went out and gave a political speech but he at least got some muted applause when he finished. People noticed that compete lack of respect given to Hegseth. It was stunning.

While the US is a fascist aggressor nation, it is for the best that your department of war remains as incompetent as possible.

That is why I for one support Pete wholeheartedly.

Have another drink on the house, Pete!

How much cocaine is currently powering this administration? Just delusional drug addicts in suits.

“Promotions will be based on merit” how fucking ironic coming from him, a major.

  8. I am not the enemy,
I’m an Army Veteran that served to protect the US Constitution.

He should be in federal prison for discussing war plans on an insecure internet chat site.

I know stolen valor doesn’t apply to him, cause he did serve. However, him lecturing a room of people with probably centuries of combined service, feels a little insulting.

  11. He said, “Peace through strength,” and of course one first acquires strength through joy (Kraft durch Freude), or was that the other Reich?

He’s a major in the National Guard. It’s actually hilarious he’s head of the defense (not war, the name will change in 3+ years) department. Wonder if there’s any general that actually respects him?

I wonder how many back-channel, clandestine conversations are currently being had between many of these patriotic military men who swore an oath to the Constitution? More than a few, I would think.

  14. He is so underqualified for his job.  How insulting to all the generals that this low-life has to order them around.

  15. And dangerous , because of how pathetic he is.

He knows what he is, and in his attempts to prove other wise calamity could occur

  16. Daily Show had a few great digs at him. Especially describing his speech as being like a crappy red-flag Grindr profile for a guy you just know is going to be toxic. “No fatties, no facial hair, no dei.”

  17. We have a fucking reality tv show host as president and a Fox News pundit controlling the military

  18. Both of them were embarrassing, as well as a danger to the country, the Constitution and law of the United States.

  19. Any ounce of respect (and there wasn’t much if any) that those generals had for him was lost yesterday. Same goes for Trump. Can’t imagine even his staunchest supporters saw that with their own eyes and walked away confident and proud.
