Pope Leo stoops to reddit level trolling about Abortion and the Death Penalty as if he really doesn’t understand the different between a murderer and a person that hasn’t had the chance to live let alone choose to harm anyone.
If you want to say a fetus isn’t a person, fine that’s a rational opinion. But in order to compare abortion and the death penalty you must accept that the fetus is a person otherwise the entire premise is moot. If the fetus is a person, how can you argue it’s death is no different than killing a murderer?

The truth about the “pro life” movement is that the Republican Party latched onto it in the late 1970s and early 1980s in order to court religious conservatives, with a focus on white evangelical voters. Republicans, including Reagan, used the pro life movement to drive political gains. Disgusting but true.
