You mean, despite the best efforts of the media, like associated press, blaming democrats.

No one is coming to save us. Prepare accordingly.

  2. 24 million Americans who get their healthcare through the ACA are going to see their premiums increase 114% (double) on Jan. 1 because of Trump and Republikan Party’s Big Beautiful Bill.

Republikans have shut down the government so they can double the insurance premiums for 24 million Americans.

American’s are sick of this whiny demented Nazi bitch. The end of this nightmare is coming a lot sooner than these wretched America-hating Nazis think.

  4. Was it his “Dont bother talking with the Dems” decree/command to republicans?

Or maybe it was the year long near constant calls for “shut it down”.

  5. I think the absurd banners on every gv website, written with the prose of a rude 4th grader, are creating a Streisand effect

When you read the article, it’s not the win you’d think it was from the headline. 47% blame Republicans. Everyone else blames Democrats or “isn’t sure.”

It’s the “isn’t sure” crowd who got Trump elected both times anyway. This is what the modern Internet age had bought us: roughly a third of Americans who are too dumb, lazy, and/or self absorbed to even be aware of who the current president is.

  7. A shutdown falls on the President’s lack of leadership. He can’t even control his own party and get people together in a room. A shutdown means the president is weak.

  8. Trump himself said that the president has full responsibility for shutdowns and it is a reflection on him if it happens. Of course he was talking about out someone else when he said that, because he’s a POS coward crybaby. Also he should release the Epstein files.

  9. In case anyone wonders…Trump is the President.

There are no roles above POTUS in the US. Who should be held accountable other than the leader?

  10. What the fck else does that sack of floppy human flesh expects ? This is 10000% if we’re using his math on the republicans.

And maga just line up to fill their own mouths to get shit on by the own party they support.

  11. Trump’s 2013 remarks during appearances on Fox & Friends, Trump criticized President Barack Obama’s leadership, saying:

“A shutdown falls on the President’s lack of leadership. He can’t even control his party and get people together in a room. A shutdown means the President is weak”.

He also stated that a shutdown would be “a tremendously negative mark on the President of the United States. He’s the one that has to get people together”.

Trump also said, “The problems start from the top and have to get solved from the top. The president is the leader, and he’s got to get everybody in a room and he’s got to lead”.

Even dumb people don’t like being treated dumb repeatedly. If you are the leader and always point the finger at the same party saying “it’s their fault” eventually ‘most’ people are going to realize the gig is up.

Now there are maga out there who will follow him to the end of the world because they like being in a cult. But republicans who haven’t drank the koolaid yet are slowly starting to find out that this guy always was liar and not a leader.

  13. The issue with being a all powerful God king who publically does what he wants the law be damned is that when things go wrong there is no one else to turn too. He is basically telling his followers that there is a rock too heavy for God to lift and they will either see him as weak or a liar. His only way out is to send out $500 checks or something equally stupid.

  14. Trump did tell us that you blame the president for a shutdown. He said that a strong president can negotiate around a shutdown.

  15. Metaldoughboy20 on

Trump is to blame for this shut down. He’s such a narcissist that he’s willing to shut it down rather than talk things out, Also while he’s cutting funds to blue states. I live in one of the reddest states (Louisiana) and I’m so sick of this one guy I work with.

His name is Jeremy and keeps acting like Trump is doing such a great job. He’s one of those who blame the left for this and it takes every ounce of my being not to tell him to shut the fuck up.

If Trump cared he wouldn’t be doing the shit he’s been doing. He’s a vampire sucking the life out of anyone who doesn’t kiss his ass. And I will be so glad when he’s out.

  16. “Despite his compulsive lying, people blame Trump for shutdown, poll shows”

    Fixed the title.

  17. First and foremost, I blame Congressional Republicans. They are the ones who rammed the “Big Beautiful Bill” through allowing zero input from across the aisle. Now, Democrats are offering them a chance to fix some of [the damage](https://www.kff.org/affordable-care-act/aca-marketplace-premium-payments-would-more-than-double-on-average-next-year-if-enhanced-premium-tax-credits-expire/) that bill is about to cause to Americans. Are they really so stubborn as to not make things right?
