They dont understand the definition of Tariff now Insurrection. Seems like Economic turmoil to some means lower prices, better living conditions, infrastructure improvement, somewhat affordable Healthcare, non-working requirements for disabled people on Medicare who are physically unable to work.
My favorite is the complaining FEMA money being spent on immigrants, where now FEMA money has actually been re-allocated and spent 99% only on immigrants/immigration and not for Federal emergency assistance to citizens who need it

Just as a general anecdote to – again – be clear. I live in a Portland suburb. I’m out there *all the time.* It is not a warzone. The only protests going on are outside the *one small ICE facility,* and are peaceful (at least from the protestors’ side). This whole thing from the President is an imagined problem. At its worst its an intentional lie to introduce unlawful occupation. At its “best”, it’s the president foolishly believing FOX News reporting. We have evidence that from the president’s call to the governor.
Either way, it’s an embarrassing mess for the federal government.
