So… Enforcing the laws that have existed for decades is authoritarianism?
Maybe if people were not shooting ICE officers and ramming their cars into LEO vehicles, we would not be having all of this? OR maybe the rioting? Or the blockading of Federal facilities? Idk, seems pretty obvious why we need National guard to protect Federal assets when local PD refuses calls for help from Federal LEO.
If the local government refuses to do its job then that is fine, the Federal government has the tools to deal with the issue.
You do not have the right to blockade a Federal facility. You do not have the right to block any kind of LEO vehicle. You do not have the right to attack LEO vehicles. You do not have the right to attack LEO. You do not have the right to SHOOT LEO. You do not have the right to RAM your car into LEO vehicles while also being armed lol. All of these things are not your right.
Now if they peacefully protested in an obviously peaceful manner, no one would care. Blocking a facility and attacking Federal officers who have to shove you out of the way just to get their vehicles in and out is not peaceful. Sorry to break it to you.

People are being abducted in broad daylight. Like Portland, we are “an enemy”, a “war zone”, etc.
It’s so surreal that I don’t even know how to react right now except with heartbreak. I haven’t personally witnessed any abductions, but I have seen ICE agents, and on Sunday night, I was out with friends at a restaurant outside in an extremely safe neighborhood when around 8:30 pm, helicopters were constantly flying over us for no particular reason for about 5-10 minutes.
This is all so targeted that it makes me mad when I open up TikTok or Instagram or whatever, and Trump supporters will be like “this is EXACTLY what I voted for!!” Okay Susan from rural Oklahoma, why don’t you back off and first have some empathy for others while also realize that this is completely unprecedented and illegal?
