Johnson vowed Tuesday to swear-in the congresswoman “as soon as she wants,” but he has since flip-flopped, saying she would not be sworn-in until her party agrees to end the government shutdown.

Johnson’s claim ignores the reality that the House regularly is gaveled into pro forma sessions – including being scheduled to do so at 3 pm today. (A charade that is done for legal purposes to meet the Constitutional requirement “”that neither chamber can adjourn for more than three days without the consent of the other.”)
There is no legal distinction between that and a regular session. Johnson is, as usual, full of shit in his desperate efforts to cover up for Donald Trump’s massive ties to Epstein.
