My guess is that Trump will somehow use the millions of peaceful protests at next weekend’s No Kings rally to justify declaring the Insurrection Act. They will highlight a few isolated incidents of violence among millions of people to show that military intervention is required to control the millions of “insurrectionists” taking to the streets.
