This is a guy who was laughing and bro-ing it up with Trump at a funeral when many of us here were warning of existential fascism.
When we were screaming about Trump illegally blackbag kidnapping people to illegal foreign torture prisons, Obama was putting out his Spotify music list. When we were screaming about Trump’s doge firing essential people, killing off USAID, dept of education and a hundred more emergencies, Obama puts out his basketball bracket.
Sorry, but protecting democracy shouldn’t be a once-a-year thing. That’s applies to you and me and him. His highly visible lack of concern has been disappointing.
Similar with Michelle Obama. She only ever pops up to talk about her own book or podcast or interview or appearance… and every time it’s some variation of how shitty Barack is to be married to. That’s just a priceless gift to MAGA world as it completely reinforces their hoax-induced distrust of him and validates every time they ever said a bad thing about him.

That is the definition of oligarchy . Big corporation CEOs are immoral people who would give tons of money to Trump so they could pay significantly less taxes at the expense of middle class and workers who live paycheck to paycheck.
Unless people would stop voting for GOP or MAGA, this would continue no matter who the president is.

He should have used his two terms to regulate and nationalize the banks, instead he hired Timothy Geithner and Larry Summers and sold out main street. Only one banker was jailed for the mess in 2008. His administration was filled with ex-bankers and insurance lobbyists. Now he wants corporate CEO’s to be nice to their customers…
