Why is every single level of government have to be partisan? Can’t an independent with great ideas and solid morals win? It seems there are two types of dems. AOC/Bernie dems and Schumer/Pelosi dems.

New Orleans has had democratic mayors for like what- 50 years or something. I never remember a republican mayor in that city, having grown up and lived there. If she can get infrastructure and crime under control, that would be amazing, but I doubt it.
