  1. Remember that the prosecutor has never prosecuted a case before.

The case won’t make it past discovery.

Lindsey….their was a reason no one else wanted to take this case on at the DOJ

    you gonna learn

  3. Remember, the actual suit isn’t the point. The point is to just say he’s getting charged, not charge him with anything.

“Needless Delay” is their entire gameplan.

Needless delay on the insurrection proceedings

Needless delay on the Epstein Files

Needless Delay against people he doesn’t like to prolong their suffering and likely cost them more money.

  5. Would be funny if the case made it to discovery, a bunch of shit gets exposed, and then the case gets dropped due to incompetence by Trump lawyers

  6. I get the feeling the moment Comey got charged, every top lawyers he’s ever been in contact with grabbed their phone and offered him to work for free. He’s going to make the DOJ look like a bunch of amateurs ( which they are )

Judge should just issue a summary judgment with prejudice before the jury is seated

  8. The indictment needed a grand jury.

What evidence did they show the grand jury?

I know the joke that you could get a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich but when even your the prosecution is indicating they aren’t ready to proceed with what they have on hand, that’s a pretty solid indication that the grand jury isn’t acting as even a speed bump.

Given the increasingly obvious indication of prosecution as punishment, we really need grand juries to go “no, I don’t think so”

Do I understand this correctly: The government doesn’t want to let James Comey see the evidence against him in his own criminal trial?

  10. When the process is the point and the outcome is irrelevant, then a speedy trial is not part of the prosecutions plan.

  11. Of all the clowns in all the tents of this administration, I do not envy the one that now has to try prosecuting James Comey.

  12. Well duh, it’s not about actually prosecuting them, its about having them charged and pending.

  13. Innocent men insist on a speedy trial. Guilty men, waiting on the election cycle and relying on a base of populist supporters, do nothing but delay them.

  14. “I know we chose to proceed to this point, but we are not ready to proceed.”

    Republican governance in a nutshell.

  15. This suit might end up being **Comey’s Revenge**.

He’s an expert at law, an insider, and has one of the best lawyers you can get going against the **weakest case** you can get.

I suspect he can get it tossed on any number of procedural moves, such as the prosecutor’s illegal appointment, but he may use it to rip off the lid in discovery and expose a bunch of corruption. He’ll know exactly what to ask for when in discovery down to the individual file cabinet and where it sits in the office.

These people are idiots and I hope he finally does something useful here.
