  1. Trump has turned everything upside down and I am not even angry. We saw this but the other side did not listen

  2. They should’ve done this a week ago. Better late than never I suppose.

Why is it only Republicans trying so hard to hide the Epstein files? Seems like the Democrats all want to release them.

People need to quit threatening and just start doing! Actions clearly speak louder than words.

  4. I’m not opposed to them suing Grindr Mikey for being an obstructionist asshole, but why don’t they just have a judge swear her in, and totally bypass his theocratic ass?

  5. Can we stop threatening and start doing? Dragging ass is part of the reason we’re in this mess. Their actions are definitively wrong take definitive action.

  6. Unlike the presidency, there is no constitutional obligation on the part of Congressmen to take an oath to be seated. She won, the election was certified, and she has every right to march into DC and claim her office and her place in the chamber. When people say they’re tired of Democrats being too passive, this is exactly what they’re talking about. Democrats need to stop playing by rules that the other side wouldn’t respect. Sometimes, you need to throw your weight around a little bit to get things done. And yes, it might make a few people unhappy, but you have to be willing to make a few people unhappy if you’re fighting for something that you’re passionate about.

  7. What would be interesting is a bill that said for every day they don’t have representation, their fed income taxes of the district are prorated down. 15 day delay in swearing in: income tax due multiplied by 350/365.  This will add up quick especially considering businesses in the district.

Alternate: put a penalty on it, multiply by 2X or 3X until it’s zero. Actually, you probably have to do that anyway.

  8. What realistically can happen here?

With delays the way they are, this could be tied up in court for months.

Can somebody explain how this democrat being seated and “sealing the epstein vote” would result in release of the Epstein Files? The vote in question is a discharge petition, which then has to go to the Senate, and then to Trump’s desk.
