It sucks to say, but I was genuinely shocked to see that the calls for resignation was coming from republicans. Sad that we’ve gotten to the point I just assumed open bigotry was encouraged across the board in the Republican party. But I guess at least some of the dislike certain types of bigotry. Handful of holdouts still telling themselves there’s a shred of moral fiber and respectability left in their party.

I was born in Kuwait and my parents are from Iran but we are Armenian. Thanks Turkey. Anyhow, we had to move to US during the revolution in Iran as we were labeled Christians. We moved to Texas. Since I was young I have experienced racism in the US. Most white men are racist. I even met gay white men that were more racist than others. We left Texas for orange county Ca. We were met with more racialism but the quiet kind. Where they made it difficult to obtain things to get ahead in life. Denied promotions. Being fired for false accusations. America was built on racism. It’s going to take a long time to defeat. The people you never think are racist, are racist. I live in Huntington Beach now and a few people from my high school were put in jail for racially motivated crimes against minorities. We live in a world where us vs them lives and breathes daily.
