  1. Isn’t this the second cop? Or maybe more. After all ICE did this to a Maryland or Massachusetts cop too and he was from Jamaica.

  2. Omg yes ICE please make an enemy of local police. It would be so funny. They definitely won’t start arresting you and broadcasting your faces to the public 😂

Wouldn’t surprise me at all if those simpletons ran names through grok and chatgpt.

  4. Even police are going to find out they are not safe from this.

Once that happens then this situation will really be spicy for ICE. All the police have to start doing is turning *around* when they form those lines between ICE and protestors. Police can start enjoying making ICE beat the rap but not the ride.

  5. Armed, uniformed thugs gradually making enemies out of other armed, uniformed thugs? Well, this couldn’t possibly end poorly!

This guy is all the way white, what were they going for here? Illegally here from Canada?

Chicago PD, you better start saying not in my house. We have to agree this is a bridge too far.

This is exactly what we need. Two shitty corrupt institutions ran by complete morons beefing it.

DHS has said that passing an E-Verify request is not a guarantee of legitimate immigration status. The agency’s own outside audits have shown as much as 54% of results are incorrect.

I’m almost positive that citizenship or at least legal permanent residency is a requirement to becoming a cop in Illinois. It’s very hard to believe he got hired without either showing a birth certificate proving he was born here or documentation that he was here legally.

    >“Radule Bojovic violated our nation’s laws and was living ILLEGALLY in the United States for 10 years—what kind of police department gives criminal illegal aliens badges and guns? It’s a felony for aliens to even possess a firearm. A law enforcement officer who is actively breaking the law,” said DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin in a statement to CNN Thursday.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t overstaying your visa in the US merely a misdemeanour and not a crime? Also, considering that the Trump administration let this “criminal illegal alien” stay in the US for the full four years of Trump’s first term, he wasn’t exactly on America’s Most Wanted list, was he?

  11. U.S. police forces arresting ICE would be the **one** thing they could do to immediately salvage their awful reputation. Standing for their community against fascist thugs would immediately fix the ACAB problem and likely swell their ranks with proud servicemen again.

When are they going to arrest Musk and Melania? They both committed visa fraud, overstayed and obtained citizenship under false pretenses. Literally the same offense (just multiple offenses as opposed to just overstaying).

  13. perilous_times on

Either these folks are faking their paperwork or they had legal rights to work in the country. The Trump administration is looking at old visa overstays and revoking current rights to work from people.

  14. A civil offense, tantamount to jaywalking…except the perpetrator also pays taxes, raises a family, and serves a public good.

  15. Yes so let’s go after the ppl who loved our country enough to try and be a police officer in it and take all the bullshit that comes with such a job in such a climate. This is really a great use of our tax dollars and I’m sure less ppl will od on fentanyl over it.

Guy shoulda been fast tracking towards citizenship not getting deported.

To quote DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin (verbatim) from the CNN news report:
“Radule Bojovic violated our nation’s laws and was living ILLEGALLY in the United States for 10 years— It’s a felony for aliens to even possess a firearm. A law enforcement officer who is actively breaking the law,”
    End quote.

For one he didn’t have a criminal record, at the most he may have been in the US illegally however, but the thing that stuck out the most to me was DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin also said in the statement: “what kind of police department gives criminal illegal aliens badges and guns?”
Seriously? She wants to go there? Because we all know now the Trump administration makes up their own facts.
So…I’m really glad she stated that because now I can retort with, “Well…what kind of nation gives a 34-times convicted felon the presidency and has the audacity to protect that with badges and guns?”
That McLaughlin is nothing but a buffoon along with her sidekicks Leavitt, etc… 🤦‍♀️

PS: No offence to the good people of the US in my reference to the use of the term, “what kind of nation…”,
I was being rhetorical in response to McLaughlin because she says nonsense without thinking in addition always making up her own facts, it gets frustrating hearing the bullcrap that continuously spews from her mouth.

Good. The police sure as shit won’t help you while being molested by the pedophile support army.

Jesus. I wonder how legit this claim is, and how relevant his position on ICE could be instead.

ICE claims that this man is an illegal who overstayed his guest visa in the country. He apparently is from Montenegro. Which if you didn’t know is in southeastern Europe. It doesn’t really get whiter than that, so it’s not racially motivated this accusation… so wait… why would they target a cop who is doing his job? Unless he was getting in the way…

Hmmm…… he was apprehended during ICE activities. That sounds like he might have tried to get in the way of illegal activity by ICE. In other words, he was doing his job.

So even the police aren’t safe from the immigration and customs enforcement. I’m fairly certain that if he is a registered officer of the law then he has been through the wringer with background checks and security clearance. At least enough to know if he had a valid citizenship or if he was an overstaying guest, and thus not eligible to about half the bill of rights, and many other amendments to the constitution. That would be a really important detail for allowing someone to arrest people for arbitrary reasons, or for being a public servant of the law, because if they didn’t have any leverage over him because he could just go back home to his home country, then they wouldn’t be able to trust him enough to do the right thing when push came to shove. Seriously, if he was an illegal immigrant, then this wouldn’t be raising half of the stink that it is. It’s just abnormal behavior, but I guess I should be used to that by now.

They are removing people they don’t see as loyal, so they can make sure their surveillance police state won’t fail.

  20. What happens when police start shooting ice agents in an instance like this? He has the right to protect himself correct? Ice doesn’t prove they are ice when kidnapping people, so would it be illegal for him to defend himself with deadly force?

  21. Related:

It is my understanding that in Nassau County, NY you are not allowed to wear a mask except for medical reasons; and in fact, it is a crime to wear a mask to hide your identity. Being that ICE agents are fond of masks, it would be hilarious (ironic?) if the Nassau County cops arrested and detained ICE agent wearing masks.
