    Not uncommon to see retired flag officers sign open letters en masse and whatnot, but you don’t see them poke their individual heads up like this very often because it risks their retirement.

    So it either speaks to this guy’s character or his wealth that he’s willing to put his name out there like this.

    The right believes they’re martyrs for an imaginary cause. They live in a reality of persecution where every evil and fear that exists is out to get them. Then they justify their actions using the imaginary reality. And it works because the people who hold power to stop either won’t or can’t use it.

    Feels like we’ll be stuck in this until reality comes crashing down around them. I’m just exhausted of it all, I know that. I’m ready for this to be over with one way or the other.

    Not the first time the GOP has attacked the right to free speech when it expressed opinions they didn’t like. I think it was during Bush the first when they tried the first time I remember. And that is just my memory.

    Im pretty sure creating a bonafide neo-militia to combat people who “look like” immigrants and mobilizing the military on cities that are assumed to have high crime is absolutely ruling in fear and force.
