Trump and his administration behave like textbook abusers in every other sense and he’s still in power so we need to be prepared.
I don’t mean this to sound like fear mongering, but think about how abusers respond when caught. When a kid snaps and stands up to an abusive parent the abuse doesn’t stop unless the kid or parent are removed. The parent increases the abuse even more because the kid “betrayed” them by calling it out. This stupid ass video was him testing the waters but we need to seriously be prepared for escalating fallout. Especially in “blue” cities and states.
We’ll need to stand our ground and continue pushing back, but be aware of the risks.
