  1. If this is true and one person can be a protest then there were more than 7 million protests across the country.

A prime example of a true patriot for their country.

It takes a serious amount of dedication and bravery to stand up for what you believe in when you’re the only one who believes it in your community.

Being West Virginia 90% of the public can’t protest because they are too busy working two minimum wage jobs, can’t afford the gas, or don’t have transportation.

We need a new word that is somewhere between urban and rural that is not suburban. Beckley is not what I would consider to be rural. It’s a large town? Small city? It’s its own metropolitan area.

  5. This woman has the courage of her convictions. I’m so proud of her. I went to Beckley way back when I used to tent camp and go whitewater rafting in the New River Gorge. The area is stunningly gorgeous. I remember the poverty of the area as well. The tar paper and tin roof shacks.

    Good for her.

To be clear, though, she was the lone No King’s patriot in Beckley. There were 16 protests throughout the entirety of WV.
