*senior* elected democrats need to pusheback. Voting for officials under 60 is the difference between someone fighting for a future they have to live in, vs someone who’s fighting for their legacy.

  2. This sub is such losers club.

“Too late!” No it’s not. How easy do you expect a fight like this to be? We’ve been pushing back for a decade and objectively we’ve taken some losses but it’s not over and things will swing back and we’ll still have to fight forward without being complacent.

We very well could be staring down a pivotal victory in just two days. So shut the fuck up with all this talk that it’s over. It’s not.

  3. I think it’s important for all leaders to speak out against lawlessness, regardless of party affiliation. Rule of law matters

Obama helped build the fascist infrastructure currently expanding against us. Unless he wants to correctly identify that and take concrete action from his position of privilege, he can fuck off.

  5. I’m glad he’s speaking out but..

These Democrats are not doing enough. They’re urging people to fight back but that doesn’t capture the 5 alarm fire we’re in.

They need to get a large group together – Obama, Biden, Bush, Clinton, and dozens of other high-ranking politicians/former and make it clear that democracy is at stake.

It’s absolutely insane to me that we aren’t hearing more pushback from these people.

Too be fair a lot are, they just get suppressed over social media and tv rarely covers it.

  7. Guess that means you’ll be joining us in the streets next time there’s a protest, right Barry? *Right?*

  8. …okay? We all agree with him on that and have the whole time. He’s faaaar from the only person to have said this. … why does this matter again? This isn’t news. This isn’t even relevant. Are there actually people who are thinking “yes! THIS is the catalyst!”
    Let’s care about ACTUAL news
