Trump will be impeached and removed from office next year.

    Mark my words.

From a child rapist to a couch rapist JD Vance. What an upgrade for MAGA crazy people.

Too bad the majority they polled probably lives in a minority of House districts, thanks to artful gerrymandering.

  4. Well I’m sure he’ll take this under consideration before more propaganda about immiegrants and trans people.

Or do you guys think they’ll spin the wheel on bigoted nonsense? Mamdani’s pissing em off, wanna tee off on Muslims again?

  5. Only if people will actually vote and not just sit at home and rant. These polls can indicate whatever they want, but the actual change, we have to make possible ourselves

  6. That’s normal. Historically, the party that takes the White House loses some seats in Congress come the midterms. The GOP knows this and that’s why the GOP controlled states are redistricting specifically to gain GOP seats in congress and maintain dominance in Congress.

  7. yeah, a majority of Americans didn’t vote for trump. Unfortunately, our system doesn’t work that way and is actively being modified to allow the least popular to win

I doubt that there will be any fair elections.

The military and national guard are stationed in blue states to control them.

Trump will probably invade NYC to arrest Mamdani.

He already threatened to arrest him, remove his citizenship and “deport” (kill) him.

  9. We don’t pick the House by a nationwide majority vote though.

This is (almost) as irrelevant as a presidential candidate’s nationwide polls.

It’s possible the 435 elections will hew pretty close to national polls, but there’s no reason they have to.

What do the polls in each district show?

  10. We should have a poll question: who should be in charge, this one ranting lunatic or a government. And we’ll see that 37% still on his side

  11. this is not “devastating” at all. Literally seen this exact headline so many times it’s ridiculous.

  12. Are the brain deads who elected a criminal that lead a fascist coup against their country, and gave his party a trifecta, suddenly realizing they’ve been tricked by their facebook and tiktak feed?

  13. What the majority wants doesn’t matter.

What they vote for does. And that only insofar as their votes manage to get counted.

Do you all honestly think they didn’t know that was gonna happen? Do you all honestly believe they are going to let that happen? Come on…guys.

I would love to see the Dems rally around a future oriented optimistic message. We’ll be well into a recession come midterms, however. And possibly at war with Venezuela, MX and Nigeria as well. So I’m not what case for optimism can be built with that as a backdrop but I guess we’ll just try our best.

  16. And so continues the shitshow that is our political cycle.

Republicans take power and wreck things for their corporate shills -> people do shocked pikachu face and vote in democrats to fix things -> democrats stem the bleeding caused by republican changes which takes most of their term -> people get angry because things did not instantly improve and vote in republicans because “democrats did nothing!”. Rinse and repeat.

  17. Very well. Then his next step would be to dissolve Congress and declare himself President for life with the SCOTUS approval 6 to 3.

    You read it here first.
