> **Former car salesman turned Ohio Republican Senator Bernie Moreno** revealed that he had obtained the vehicle identification numbers (VINs) for cars belonging to his Democratic colleagues Wednesday as the Senate Commerce Committee was questioning Ryan McCormack, President Donald Trump’s nominee for an undersecretary role at Transportation.
> **“Would it surprise you that I got the VIN numbers of every one of my Democrat colleagues’ vehicles and found that none of them bought any of the additional safety technologies on their cars?” Moreno asked.** His argument was that this undermines the Democrats’ push to mandate additional driver assistance technology in cars.

Shared from Senator Jackie Rosen’s instagram account of the moments **Bernie Moreno** revealed his creepy actions in an attempt to deflect what’s occurring with the shutdown.
> **WATCH:** Instead of Bernie Moreno creepily following us to the cars we use to get to work in the Capitol and writing down their VIN numbers, l’d suggest he use his time in more productive ways – like coming to the table and negotiating with Democrats on actions to protect Americans’ access to affordable health care and end this Republican shutdown.
Headline is creepy for sure, but wtf are these additional safety technologies they are trying to mandate? That seems like a big deal too.

He’s Hispanic and not born in the US. Is there an ICE hotline? This seems like shady and suspicious behavior.

I’m not the least bit surprised that Ohio sends a car salesman to Washington, that jibes with every buckeye I’ve crossed paths with so far.

He unseated Sherrod Brown, a well-respected Senator who could work across the aisle. He’s a fucking embarrassment to my state; my fellow Ohioans who voted for this joke should be ashamed of themselves!

I am from Ohio and sold cars for many years at dealers that directly competed with Moreno. I’ve posted this twice before in Ohio subs, but I’ll repost here to give everyone an idea of what this dude is like. For reference, he is from Cuyahoga County and Summit County is the one southeast of Cuyahoga:
I’ve posted this before but I’ll say it again:
I worked in the car business in Summit and Cuyahoga counties for the better part of a decade, spent about decade total in the business. Car dealers are a small community, everyone knows everyone.
I worked for some of the nastiest, shadiest, most narcissistic and cruel bastards to have ever bastarded. I worked for a man whose own father told me he understood why everyone hated his son. I worked for a man that told us with glee how much he missed being able to “blow up g**ks” in Vietnam. I worked for a men that used the n-word with a frequency and level of comfort that would make David Duke blush and each and every one of those people pure, straight HATED Bernie Moreno. They all thought he was a crook, unethical (lol), and rotten.
The worst people you can imagine thought Moreno was the worst of them, and now he’s a senator.

So is he stalking the Congressperson and then getting the VIN for their car or is he grabbing random VINs/plates from parked cars and running DMV checks to see who owns them. Both seem pretty creepy.
