  1. Donald Trump passed off tricky questions to JD Vance after appearing to nod off during an earlier press conference.

The 79-year-old held a dinner with central Asian countries at the White House on Thursday night, where he took questions from the media.

The president, who appeared tired at points during the appearance, was seated between the vice president and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

  2. lol, never remember even Biden doing this.  Trump must be way far out of the dementia deep end.

“Droopy” works better. It can both refer to the “droopy eyes” of someone who is sleepy and his droopy stroke face. Also alliteration is always catchier.

  4. Sleepy Donnie, very low energy. He needs to schedule more “executive time” to fit in his afternoon and evening naps.

  5. > “He really sleeps less and still has more energy than anybody that I know that’s 40 years younger than he is,” Vance added.

LMAO. the guy who is morbidly obese, confirmed CVI patient with cankles, can barely walk up and down a staircase without falling, eats nothing but hamberders and ketchup, and everyone is to believe that he’s the pinnacle of health and vitality? it’s just such an over the top claim that it’d be hilarious if it was about anyone else. is vance quite sure that’s not just the sudo doing it’s work?

Honestly I can’t tell if this is a power move or just pure laziness. Either way, it’s entertaining

  7. You know who else used to nod off during meetings? Ronald Reagan. It was known long before his second term was up that he had Alzheimer’s, but it was covered up. Sound familiar?

He’s deteriorating, fast. I couldn’t believe how frail his voice sounded in the past few days. He has no clue what’s happening most of the time and is only being sustained by his narcissism and thirst for revenge on everyone who he feels isn’t loyal enough.

  9. I really wish The daily beast came with flair saying its opinion. As much as I agree with their take on those things. Their headlines are absolutely biased and editorialized.

I just want to see journalism as a whole kind of go back to something that is more about the truth and less about clickbait titles.

  10. Just giving JD practice for when he takes over – either from Trump’s heart failure, dementia, or release of the Epstein files.

Why isn’t this a bigger story? Trump has been falling asleep in public for years and it’s barely ever spoken about. He slept every day in his trial according to court reporters.

Imagine if Biden had fallen asleep in public *just once*, fox would still be talking about it.

I feel like I’m taking crazy pills. Trump is demonstrably deep in the throes of dementia and it’s constantly poohed poohed.

  12. Man, sure does seem like that sleepy old man of a President is doing a whole lot of nothing while his VP does all the work.

…now where have I heard that before. Accusations, Confessions, etc etc.

  13. Sleepy Donald is as cringe as Sleepy Joe

How did both parties lose control of their rhetoric to idiots? It makes sense enough coming from maga (we *all* know they’re dumb) but seeing it come from the left is just… yikes

Edit: Holy shit it’s literally every comment here. Republicans won the war on education and this nation is so unbelievably fucked lol

Don’t try to switch up the sleepy joe name now 😂 we all know you’d like to but that name has been taken.

  15. One day, his eyes will close and never open again.

Due to Reddit rules, I have no comment about how I will feel about that.

Okay, is this a classic case of the pot calling the kettle black? Dozey Don calling out Sleepy Joe Biden seems a little too ironic.

  17. How is this even remotely competent or appropriate for the leader of the most powerful nation on earth?
