I remember reading an article last week about how Trump is obsessed with the Roaring 20s, mainly due to the massive wage gap and how much richer the rich were getting at the time. That was before his Gatsby party, which just seemed to reinforce that.

In 1929 the administration screwed the economy up after the initial crash with the Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act of 1930. Trump is destroying the economy with tariffs before the crash and making climate change worse with his environmental policy. That will make things worse than 1929.
