I believe the American phrase would be that Trump (and by extension the GOP) are a clear and present danger to the United States.

The government is literally fighting to deny food to citizens.

anyone want to bet that the public Project 2025 is only half of the picture? and that there is a secret Project 2025 that outlines how Rump can provoke riots to justify martial law?

  3. Wow, just read that headline , slowly, and let that sink in. STOP feeding Americans . From the guy who building a 300 MILLION ballroom.

Just remember, while this is Trump, it really is Stephen Miller behind the curtain.

    A couple evil little men.

  5. He wants to be just like his boyfriend Kim Jong Un. Large military parades, generals licking his boots, and starving people treating him like a god.

wtf! our snap was supposed to be here 7 days ago. still haven’t got it. it’s not just poor adults he’s starving, it’s our children too. he says he’s not, but he keeps trying to block them.

He wants people that have gotten and spent their funds to give back food? This is getting into petty whiny baby territory.  I hope states tell him to get fucked.sideways.with a cactus.

  8. Can’t have the blue states making the red states look bad. Texas has a 30 billion dollar rainy day fund to pull from in Emergencies, and what did they do for their citizens, not a fucking thing.

Edit: As a side note, prior to the ruling, the Administration said they were going to pay out full benefits for November. So they are just completely cruel and full of shit

Poor Trump thinks he controls the States, but that still isn’t how our government works.

  10. Sadly, even though Trump is fighting aggressively to starve people, some out there still blame Democrats.

MAGA is like an abused child rn: “Trump only hurts us when Democrats make him mad.”

They can kiss my lily-white ass. Let them take the states to court to prove states did anything wrong or violated a court order. Those disbursements would be deemed legal by the federal ruling and made prior to the SCOTUS decree. Tie it up in court, it’s the new way.

  12. The guy born with the silver spoon in his mouth doesn’t give a fuck about people that can’t afford groceries because he doesn’t understand how people couldn’t afford groceries. Actually that’s not true, he just flat out doesn’t give a fuck as long as his pockets get lined. I feel bad calling him a piece of shit as I have far more respect for fecal matter than I do Trump.

  13. States – just take a page from Trump’s own playbook. Fund it and say “see ya in court.”

[insert obligatory Rage Against the Machine quote]

Trump is baiting us. With all of his parties at Mar-A-Lago, and the cut to SNAP, he is wanting us to riot in the streets so he has the reasoning to bring in the military.

Once he brings the military and occupies cities, no more elections.

  15. At this point, it’s honestly very strange. Why is the administration so against funding SNAP? If they just funded it, it would help them politically.

They’re trying to push the idea that the shutdown is the democrat’s fault. So if they funded SNAP, they could pretend it’s the administration going out of their way to help people while the democrats try to starve them (even though that’s clearly false).

They could also be doing this as part of a larger push to argue that welfare programs are wasteful and bad and welfare queens and blah blah blah. But they aren’t arguing that, like at all.

It’s so strange. As far as their messaging goes, it really sounds like they aren’t funding SNAP just because they don’t feel like it. It just doesn’t make sense.

  16. States rights crowd really struggling with consistency

    Edit: /s was implied.

It’s always the inconsistent application of “values” for the sake of their own power especially in regards to their racism

    >Trump administration says states must “immediately undo any steps” to send full SNAP benefits

Trump wants riots so he can declare martial law. Keep your tempers, folks. Help each other as best you can but please, please keep your cool.
