“Chuck Schumer should step down as Senate Minority Leader immediately,” Joseph Geevarghese, executive director of Our Revolution, said in a statement. “If he secretly backed this surrender and voted ‘no’ to save face, he’s a liar. If he couldn’t keep his caucus in line, he’s inept. Either way, he’s proven incapable of leading the fight to prevent health care premiums from skyrocketing for millions of Americans. The country can’t afford his failed leadership any longer.”

None of these “Decorum Democrats” will be up for reelection next year either… Donald Trump has no plans to leave the White House, with its new ballroom and bathrooms, in 2028 and the “threat” of primary elections is no longer sufficient. These defeatist Democrats need to be intensely pressured, now, to resign immediately:

    Angus King (Maine): age 81

    Tim Kaine (Virginia): age 67

    Dick Durbin (Illinois): age 80

    John Fetterman (Pennsylvania): age 55

Maggie Hassan (New Hampshire): age 67

Jeanne Shaheen (New Hampshire): age 78

Catherine Cortez Masto (Nevada): age 61

    Jacky Rosen (Nevada): age 68

  4. Americans get rolled by the “human flat tire” once again.

Absolutely disgraceful. And people will die because of it.

  5. Give a call to your senators to ask for Schumer to be removed as minority leader. It takes about 30 seconds to do, and holds more credence than a email.

When I called I made sure to tell them that I was a registered voter, member of their party, and frequent donor. Chuck Schumer had proved a ineffectual leader who could not even corral his whip for a vote of this magnitude.

  6. There are oligarchs across party lines that wish to see a king crowned in America. Disgusting. The no kings movement must grow. They cannot stop us all from preventing their monarchist plans.

The entire shutdown is now placed on the heads of Dems, thanks to Chuck Schumer’s inability to keep his members in line.

Schumer is a historically weak failure. The man should resign in disgrace. I want him gone TODAY, but he should’ve been gone years ago.

This dummy has republicans and everyone at r-conservative making fun of him for getting nothing.

Shumer is a coward and a power-hungry old fart. Boot him to the curb. This constant “corporate centrist” Democrat shit is how they rip Defeat from the jaws of victory every freaking time.

  10. Who did he do this for? What was the reason? Why was this even done?

The burden was NEVER on the dems. The suffering was always going to be at the feet of the oppression party. Kicking the can down the road so everyone gets to pay 3x the insurance rate for even worse insurance services is beyond asinine.

  11. Typical of Schmuck Schumer.

You can always rely on him to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

The polls showed that the American public supported Democratic Senators for their stance; and blamed Republicans for the shutdown.

Just last week, Democratic candidates won elections IN DEEP RED STATES.

So what does Chuck the Schmuck do?

all moderate/centrist democrats need to be kicked out of the party. theres no room for billionaires in this party.
