    We are going to need to be able to withstand a lot more discomfort if we are ever going to win any of these showdowns

  2. Ripped the possibility of a General Strike from the stokes of victory. If the air system collapsed other industries would follow and would have decapitated the regime. Oh well! First thing I learned in Aviation school (ended up not becoming a pilot) was that federal workers at airports hold the most political power in a government shutdown.

    I don’t want to single out women but one can escape the fact that four of the eight Democrat defectors were women. 50% of the defectors and obviously much less than 50% of the total Democratic caucus. not that women can’t be hardcore and hold the line but for whatever reason the Democratic senators seem to not be able to find these women.
