  1. Fuck Schumer right in front of his schizophrenic imaginary voter friends. He has failed on every level and needs to be removed from his position ASAP.

Schumer holds wealth tests for Democratic candidates. Al Franken wrote about it in *Giant of the Senate* almost ten years ago. And it was Schumer who pushed Franken out soon after, in a creepy “bedside chat.”

He has never been a liberal, progressive, or Democrat. The man is a tumor on our body politic.

EDIT: Minutes after I made this comment, an AI commenter [started spamming one of my old posts with anti-Mamdani talking points.](https://old.reddit.com/r/PoliticalHumor/comments/1onqxf8/if_mamdani_wins_rich_people_in_nyc_will_all_sell/nobhhyd/) I was blocked after pointing out the suspicious nature of the person behind it.

These boomers need to let the fuck go. Just power hungry, out of touch grand stander with no backbone. Pass the torch like the previous generations did for them.

It’s all coordinated theater. I’m watching commercials today about the Health Care vote. They rode the momentum of the shutdown into an election victory last Tuesday and then promptly moved on with commercials, etc… so they can run on Health Care for the midterm.

This has nothing to do with helping Americans; it is about saving their own hides.

  5. I love how many Washington insiders, people for whom Beltway politics are a passion, who deal with these people everyday as part of their jobs, are trying to pretend that this wasn’t what Schumer has always been.

Bitch, you knew he was a scorpion.

Shouldn’t we call a spade a spade and say that the move was intentional? Or do we actually need to prove it? Not like American politics demands it at this point. Speak it into truth is where we seem to be these days.

  7. Schumer and The Traitorous Eight just treated my family’s future like it was an underage girl on Epstein Island.

If his only strength (and it is) is to rally the dem caucus to maintain the status quo (read: do nothing to improve), he is less than useless. He’s aiding and abetting the line-by-line, measure-by-measure slow push to accepted authoritarianism which happens every damn time there’s an opportunity to push back against the more egregious and obvious fascist power grabs. He’s taking every small win and trying to entrench just there. Not using the win to actually fight for the people.

Every single fucking time, he finds a way to scapegoat the untouchables and ensure we’re left at exactly the same bad position the right has put us in. How would it even look different if he wasn’t in bed w the DC establishment?!

    THIS IS BONKERS

  9. the democrats are so freaking funny man

    >we’ve really got the GOP’s feet to the fire this time! we’ve finally figured out their pain points, now to really dig in!

    >okay, good job everyone, we’ve generated a bunch of positive headlines and i think we’ve really started some productive national discussions and highlighted the Republicans’ hypocrisy, time to all go home and stop holding their feet to the fire now

    >what? actual concessions? why would we want those?

what funny, funny loveable little jokesters they are

  10. He’s the Neville Chamberlain of US Politics. ” Peace in our Time ” appease, appease, appease….

“Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could do only a little.”

“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing,”

    Chuck please go….

  11. It’s all talk. They all say Schumer needs to go and I agree, but I wish they would actually do something about it. I feel so powerless.

  12. Is he actually going to resign? I remember when the “Big Beautiful Bill” passed people were extremely upset with him and the Dem leadership but nothing happened and here we are again.

  13. Chuck Schumer doesn’t have a lack of judgment. He is doing exactly what he intended to do this whole time. He’s not a man with good intentions who is simply making the wrong choices. He is a who’s man who’s accepted the job of creating a controlled opposition to further the interests of corporations.

Everyone isn’t suffering because of his lack of judgment, everyone is suffering because he’s an evil piece of shit who needs to be removed from office.

  14. As a “both sides” person whose taken flak for years this is the most agreement I’ve ever seen on Reddit.

Yes Republicans are worse but people are seeing that Dems suck too and the party needs to be cleansed and dragged to the left .

  15. Arathorn-the-Wise on

Senate Dems are going to use the pain caused by the subsidies going away for election fuel.

  16. I didn’t know Spanberger was such a snake. I guess you don’t make it in the CIA without a little reptile in you.

  17. randohipponamo on

To be clear, everyone is suffering because of the heartlessness of republicans. They are to blame for ACA getting defunded. Schumer did cave though.
