If the shutdown was prolonged into December, then there was a special election in TN that Republicans had a chance of winning, which would have kept the Epstein files from being released if their guy won the house seat.
Is that what you all would have wanted? That would have been the Democrats getting absolutely outplayed by the GOP.
Thank god Schumer ignored the masses and did what needed to be done at the cost of his entire political legacy. He will never be credited for it.
