This is an important point I’ve been making this whole time, and is something I think folks need to emphasize: it doesn’t matter how fervently you support Trump, sooner or later he will either ask you to do something you cannot do/that will destroy you, or he will turn on you and make you the new enemy who needs to be destroyed.
Like, he tried to kill his first VP. He turned on everyone who was part of his first administration. He is trying to indict Bolton and others. And now he is turning on the most MAGA people in Congress.
Trump is a perpetually sinking ship, and the only way he keeps afloat is by throwing other people on the boat overboard to keep his own head above water. So it is *idiotic* to get or stay on that boat with him.
