    >Senators say they are ready to act quickly on a House-passed bill requiring the Justice Department to make public all unclassified records and documents related to the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein

Only unclassified documents released. I suspect the classified materials are what needs to be made public.

  2. I would assume so. Looks like it needs to pass tonight to die in the pocket veto over thanksgiving.

  3. MentalTourniquet on

We will only see the prime pages of the Epstein files. pages 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19…

The GOP tends to terribly execute, and is really sloppy with everything they do: Signal chats, accidental tweets, etc. Are they even competent enough to properly redact that many documents without any mistakes?

Man after months running screens by dragging their feet in the issue, it gives me such whiplash to see the Republican controlled senate trying to blitz run the ball into the touchdown zone. At this point I can assume that all Republicans and their donors have been scrubbed out of the files. Guess we’re gonna find out soon enough.

  6. [REDACTED] hosted Apprentice and routinely said “you’re fired”.

Republicans: “wow that could be anyone”

  7. I’m sorry but why stops them from classifying any files with mention of Trump or any other interested parties as “potential to cause grave damage to national security”?

And republicans have zero questions about why Trump denied and deflected for months, no concerns about Trump literally telling them to forget about it, that it’s a hoax, fake. Telling his supporters to stop asking questions about it. Now he’s suddenly all for it and it’s passing with unanimous decision. Democrats where are you? This isn’t fishy to you?

This is so fucked. The fix is in

  9. TheMoorNextDoor on

100% the fix is in, no way they voted today without having a public vote or even conversation.

  10. Question: when is it ever ok for the people being accused of a crime to also be in charge of handing over all the evidence? After they are also allowed to mess with it?

Would I be allowed to do that?

  11. They’ll pass the bill, but full of poison pills the Dems can’t stomach. Then they’ll insist the Democrats are the ones hiding the files.

  12. Senate will pass it…and then Trump will veto it, with some bullshit that he’s investigating democrats for blah blah. Those files are not getting released.

Edit—I think I stand corrected, as apparently it is veto proof?

  13. Now POTUS has 10 days to act or it becomes law automatically whether he signs it or not. Boooom.

Unless he actually does veto it… which would be rather surprising, but could happen.

  14. The DOJ from the Biden admin knows all the details.

Their is no honor in staying quiet because of “protocol” at this point.

    Start leaking everything.

  15. Other people and countries have these files. Unredacted. Once Congress passes the bill. If the files don’t line up, they can come out and say “hey. Shit fucky” and release those too.

Oh boy, I sure can’t wait to see if [REDACTED] was involved with [REDACTED] during the [REDACTED] when [REDACTED] was spending time on [REDACTED]!

Good job guys. God bless America.

All the files won’t be available because of the investigations that Bondi and Trump will fabbricate.Trump and the GOP would not be so willing to cooperate if they didn’t have a plan to get out of this mess.
