  1. “If you’re going to give it, you have to be able to take.”

Oh, yes, of course. The motto Trump lives by. Nothing bothers him.

  2. Our esteemed president ladies and gentlemen! We are so proud of how he represents the USA! 😒

  3. When you hear words condemning a free press you are listening to the speech of a tyrant.

    >“This reporter behaved in an inappropriate and unprofessional way toward her colleagues on the plane,” an official said in a statement. “If you’re going to give it, you have to be able to take.”

So they count her question as “giving it”, as if it’s on par with verbally abusing people

  5. From the article:  “If you’re going to give it, you have to be able to take.”

    Absurd.

The role of the press is to hold power to account! They aren’t there “to give it.” The person in power might not like the questions, but to react like it’s a schoolyard bullying contest is immature at best and certainly ignorant and disrespectful of the role of a free press.

The White House is justfiying the most powerful man in the world calling a female reporter, in the role of doing her job, “piggy.”

  6. Just for a moment imagine if the reporter had turned to him and said

    – “Stop lying, piggy.”

I’m not sure he could take that.

Except the reporter was just asking a question as it was her job. She didn’t insult Trump or use any name calling like he does daily.

Though it’s not new that Trump finds unpleasant questions the same as a personal insult. King snowflake strikes again.

Vile fucking piece of shit, however journalists also have to stop being nice and fucking fight back.

The weakest, softest, smallest, most cowardly, most pathetic, and least masculine type of man is the man who feels he needs to yell at and demean women to feel strong. If you act like this in response to a fairly benign question, thats not strength. Thats weakness, insecurity, and emotional immaturity

Like, just imagine being such a bad person that you could watch this interaction and think “yep. You tell her who’s boss Mr. president!”.

I can absolutely guarantee the Trump administration would not “take it” if the media started calling him piggy or anything similar.

  11. I mean, it’s just a sign that he is not someone anyone should respect. It’s just such a weak thing to say from a leadership position.

  12. The thin-skinned, weakling-bully doesn’t like being called out for his misdeeds and misstatements and reverts to schoolyard taunts, surely a sign of a ‘stable genius.’

  13. Next time someone at your job asks you for clarification on a project, just say “quiet, piggy”. See how that goes.

  14. If Obama had called a woman a pig, Republicans would’ve tarred and feathered him. But this despicable moron gets a free pass to be as grotesquely obscene as he wants. I hate this future. I wanna go back to 1999.

  15. It’s missing the point of course.

I’m sure the journalist can take it.

What is a bigger problem is that he’s meant to be president of the United States. It’s a position that deserves a certain amount of decorum.

  16. Look at his demeanor as he says that. Can you imagine a woman in a private room saying no to him? Now, replace the woman with a little girl. This pos is the worst of the worst.
