Im sorry I have to be the voice of reason here. I love this result for Trump but we have no idea regarding the survey methods used to build this dataset. We have a margin of error calculation but no understanding of n sizes or sampling methods. Was this done via nonprobability panel online polling? Phone room? Online probability sample panels? All have pros and cons that impact the resulting data.
Were the data weighted? If so, how and according to which sources? If they weighted, did they use the effective base in the MoE calculations so as to properly account for the design effect?
Is any of this actually statistically significant?
Im sorry to say that polls run by media organizations are almost universally the product of some mathematical fuckery. At this point in my career in survey research, I won’t touch those polls with Trump’s microdick.

There’s a completely unreported white collar recession going on right now. My wife and I are stuck in C2H roles right now with at companies with frozen headcounts and minimal external hits. In both of our past job hunts, we’d probably be taking multiple recruiter calls a month. This *year* since I’ve been trying to move on I’ve had 3 recruiters respond.
What’s also rich is being corrected on “rules of engagement” by the contracting firms that would apply to something like a 3-6 month fixed term versus C2H engagement. Like I was told I shouldn’t be having 1:1s, but my role is literally scoped as a FTE role, including evolving because conversion was expected. I’d be happy to leave some of the responsibility, but that won’t fly.
But they would gladly vote for Trump for a 4th, 5th or 6th time.
