  1. If I had a nickel for every time there was a mass umasking of MAGA influencers as paid foreign assets…

I think we should pass a law that requires this. I am tired of foreign actors manipulating the US by posing as US Citizens. It should not be allowed.

    > Dozens of major accounts masquerading as “America First” or “MAGA” proponents have been identified as originating in places such as Russia, India, and Nigeria

So many zionist bot accounts pretending to be Americans turned out to be Indian, Israeli, Nigerian, Russian, it’s hilarious.

  5. They have an army in Russia that does this around the clock in order to influence public opinion in foreign nations. Here is a great write up everyone should read: https://www.reddit.com/r/self/comments/1gouvit/youre_being_targeted_by_disinformation_networks/

  6. Wow this is some truly delightful news to start my day with.

“This is total armageddon for the online right,” wrote law student and left-wing influencer Micah Erfan. “It’s looking like half of their large accounts were foreigners posing as Americans all along.”

  7. It amused me that once I pointed out an account that clearly was American based posting stuff about the UK constantly and when I pointed it out, some people liking it actually stood up for it going “Maybe they care about our country”

    >While About This Account went live on Friday, X’s head of product development, Nikita Bier, [noted](https://archive.ph/o/swo2G/https://x.com/nikitabier/status/1992335925322613127) that the change had “a few rough edges,” which they are planning to smooth.

    >Information around account location, for example, could be altered with the use of a VPN, something Bier has said the company is planning to resolve.

Ah, yes. The good ol’ “American citizens had to use VPNs that masked their locations to other countries to start accounts on and continue to use X” defense.

  9. Don’t worry, they smoothing out the rough edges of this new feature and they will hide such inconveniences soon.

  10. Several high-profile MAGA influencers were exposed as foreign operatives after an accidental revelation identified their account origins. Most notably, the “IvankaNews” account—a major amplifier of pro-Trump content with over one million followers—was unmasked as being operated from Nigeria rather than the United States, sparking discourse about the prevalence of manufactured influence campaigns within the movement.

wow its almost like….. they could have found their origins on WIKIPEDIA prior to voting?

  12. None of these Gotya moments are going to move the needle on MAGA any more. It’s become an identity for the hardcore supporters.

    Guess what.

It won’t matter. I’m convinced the MAGAsphere can do almost anything, regardless of how awful or disingenuous, and its followers won’t give a shit.

  14. Drain the swamp he said….He meant dredge it, add some neon lights and hotels. The corruption at the expense of the constitution, the American “Ethos”, and decency.
