I laugh every time I hear “ICE Barbie.” It’s one of the rare examples of where (I presume), left-leaning voters coined a pejorative term for a Republican politician just as irksome to the right as their labels of Dem politicians are to the left. And just like with rightwing epithets, the media from both political sides picked it up and ran with it too, further engraining it into the popular consciousness. She will never live this down now. It’s the perfect satire because there’s a real kernel of truth at its core.
