About time. The US East Coast is one of the world’s finest offshore wind regions, with its shallow waters, wide continental shelf, strong winds, and close proximity to most of the country’s largest cities.
The other two similar regions–offshore of China and Northwestern Europe–are absolutely packed with wind farms.
