MAGA Republicans ask Trump’s DOJ to investigate China’s involvement in the energy sector. They argue that China advocates the transition to clean energy such as wind, solar, and EVs – increasing US dependence on technologies that China dominates. Not making this up!

Inflation Reduction Act was a massive subsidy to domestic energy manufacturing. Entirely reasonable to criticize such subsidies, but it is exactly what China did. So we decided to let China own these technologies then decided to not use them because China owns them… Circular reasoning. “Reasoning” is a generous description – more like a circular firing squad.
Wind and Sunshine are free, and they free us from a costly and caustic addiction to fossil fuels which are the opioids of energy and they are run by cartels and dealers as ruthless as the kind that push fentanyl and drugs!
Wasn’t the US trying to developed domestic capacity for clean energy technologies through measures like the inflation reduction act until that was cancelled?
Just like everyone else that abounds in this administration peddling lies for personal benefit
