This is sadly the most appealable reason and also without prejudice. Though if this is upheld the Comey indictment is completely dead due to statute of limitation issues I believe.

Does this include any decision on the grand jury process and all of the irregularities it had or malicious prosecution? And if not. Is that something that will still be looked at, or is it dead with the indictment dismissed?

That’s obviously unconstitutional because the Senate is in session and interim appointments can’t be used to just circumvent the constitutional procedure.
Interim appointments are just a leftover of when Congress had to assemble with horse and buggies and it took weeks to travel the country and president wanted to appoint someone until they were all back.
