Wow – what if we all elected non-performative servant leaders to offices of Executive trust? That would be seemingly wise.

I’m not a New Yorker, so my knowledge of Mamdani is pretty thin, but if the sound bites are a true reflection of his character, then I think voters made a good choice.

The White House in the era of Trump is bizarre. I can’t really wrap my head around what voters saw in him. With any luck, though, the tide is turning, and voters are coming back to their senses. Perhaps Mamdani’s election is a harbinger of positive changes to come.

    >When host Friedland asked, “What was the weirdest thing he [Trump] showed you?” Mamdani said on the web-based talk show, “I sit down, waiting for the time of the meeting, and in front of me are all of these different coffee-table books. And one of them is UFC at the White House. I had no idea, and I was just flippin’, flippin’ through that.”

  4. Trump: remember the colosseum. Yeah gladiators. Let’s do that again. Back in those days there were no inflation, no grocery prices. I want to go back to that time with no inflation.

  5. From White House website “To commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States, the UFC plans to hold a historic mixed martial arts event on the South Lawn of the White House in June 2026.[1] While initial reports suggested a July 4th date, the event was later rescheduled for June due to logistical reasons.[4] The weigh-ins are expected to take place at the Lincoln Memorial.[2]”.

anyone wonder what this is costing taxpayers? A friggin book, plus the event?

And they looked at presidential portraits? Did he comment on the one of Biden that is just an autopen?

  7. “To be honest, I was just thinking about New York City”

What’s great about Mamdani is his ability to stay focused, while still seeming humble and open – not dismissive. It allows him to stay likable and on message while avoiding a lot of the bait the media throws at him, or unpopular far left weirdness.

    Similar to Bernie Sanders

spoiler alert – It was Stephen Miller breast feeding off Trump’s man boobs while gurgling like the antichrist

  9. This dude is white hot in popularity right now. I hope he doesn’t get caught up in any scandals because we could use him at the national level

  10. Newsweek quoting TAFS is the most insane thing that has happened to this timeline, even more so than the GQ photoshoot. Five years ago Adam shit his pants on a podcast some media outlets were too scared to even name.

This has been the pattern with every powerful man fat hitler has been scared of

    > Trump repeatedly criticized Mamdani throughout the race, calling him a “communist lunatic,” while questioning his fitness for office. The president also threatened to withhold federal funding from New York if Mamdani won.

    > However, Trump appeared to completely reverse course after meeting Mamdani at the White House last week, showering the mayor-elect with glowing praise while fully endorsing him. Trump said he would feel comfortable living in Mamdani’s New York City.

I don’t believe that that is the weirdest thing he saw, but it’s probably best that he picked that as his answer.
