I know people will come back with the “he could shoot someone on 5th Avenue!” quote but it’s not true.

If Trump passed, we’d all move the fuck on in about two weeks.

  2. That map is dumb. Maryland is where Indiana actually is. Why not just use a real map not this heron thing.

  3. I can’t wait for the Texas redistricting to blow up in their faces. Assuming the new maps are allowed after the court case, four out of the five new ‘red’ districts are majority hispanic. Like a lot of the outliers in Trump’s peculiar coalition, his Hispanic support is fleeting.

No wonder with what his jackbooted thugs rounding up everyone with a latin accent. Trump has even gone after Cubans! The most right wing of all the hispanics.

Those new districts are not going to be as red as Texas hopes.

Reminders like this make me mad. His approval rating is still too high.

People are so hateful, stupid, or detached from reality (I’m including those that stayed home last Election Day because, _meh, the world didn’t fully burn his last term, let him try again_). Sometimes all three.

  5. Then why don’t they vote…oh right. They won’t. They won’t vote to help themselves, or to improve shit, because (R).

  6. The Oklahoma swing from +27 to negative 7 is absolutely massive. That’s a 34 point drop in Trump country.

Approval rating is down but the same people will line back up for Trump anyway.

They never miss an election and always vote (R) no matter who. Voting Democrat is the worst sin imaginable to them. Allowing a Democrat to hold office is blasphemy.

“Our guy is bad, but yours will be worse!” is the kind of responses you get when you point out Trump’s terrible effect on the nation. Then deflections. They are totally convinced Democrats are the ultimate evil and Trump is just “flawed”.

I mean it certainly feels like 45% approval – president doing okay, 40% approval – president struggling a little, 35% it feels like they are doing badly, I think that’s about the best way to parse it. He is at 41% now.

Below ~37%, every modern president has been considered to be in real trouble historically.

  9. nevermind the actual content of the article, but what a gross little map they made trying to make everything an equally sized hexagon, but they don’t actually do a good job of maintaining the relative position of states, so Idaho looks like a state with a coastline and DC might as well be the Azores

  10. Are we still pretending that election night was on the up-and-up? Call me when you’re ready to be serious.

  11. The sad thing is a lot of MAGA is pissed cause he isn’t doing enough shitty things. What will they vote for next if Trump isn’t shitty enough for them??

  12. JFC…someone tell me about Idaho being so green?

I know there’s a lot of KKK and neo-Nazi movement out there but such a shame as some parts are breathtaking scenery wise.

  13. I will never believe another poll because these people can never vote for a democrat, even when orange Hitler is the republican candidate.

That’s because he didn’t win them. Elon musk hacked voting machines. There are counties that have ZERO votes for the opposition. First time in 250 years.

  15. They’re all going to vote RED anyway because fuck your feelings, woke is dead, Charlie Kirk was a saint, and you’re all a bunch of communists.

Newsweek’s DAILY “Trump bad ratings” clickbait post.

In the conservative group they have the opposite articles daily.

Never forget, Newsweek was a Trump supporter during the election.

I wish we could ban this rag from this sub, it is the absolute worst.

  17. My family and neighbors still love him. Love watching the ICE forces protecting America! Love all the lazy government workers losing their jobs! Love the stupid educators and DOE losing their footing! DTR is still loved.

  18. What’s most important is you need to look at the difference amongst 2024 voters and his margin of victory.

Of states that will have big senate races next year…

    AK -9.8%

    FL -10.5%

    GA **-15.3%**

    IA -14.1%

    NE -8.46%

    MI -12%

    NC -9.3%

    OH -12.1%

    TX **-16.68%**

Texas is specifically an interesting one after it shifted nearly double digits from the 2020 election, but also sits nearly 20% under water amongst all Texans, which beats out basically any swing state and most blue leaning states.

You won’t catch me falling for polls when it comes to Donald Trump anymore. Many of these people may disapprove but they won’t vote democrat.

  20. “Yeah this guy sucks and he’s a pedophile and a rapist that’s destroying this country, and sure prices aren’t coming down, and frankly Trump’s an asshole with zero redeeming qualities; but can you imagine how much worse Kamala would have been?!”

This is how the average Republican voter sees things.

  21. Wenger_for_President on

Most of these people will come back home as soon as real elections start. It’s nice to see people are mad about this bullshit, but as soon as they have to decide between a dem and a repub, they will go Republican all day

  22. Maybe he should stop meeting with Saudi murderers and calling reporters names and actually do something.  Nah……..
