It’s a good strategy on the administration’s part. With how rabid some of Trump’s faithful are, there’s going to be conspiracy theories about at least one of the victims to discredit the whole group. It’s sad that America can’t or won’t accept the fact that victims of abuse don’t just stand up and become heroes. A large portion of victims fall into cycles of abuse that can be used to make victim blaming easier for the accused.
