Keep in mind that RFK Jr, head of HHS and a position he’s demonstrably unqualified for, has long peddled AIDS denialism conspiracy theories.
He claims that HIV does not cause AIDS and has repeatedly questioned what he calls the “theology” that HIV is the sole cause of AIDS.

A man who puts his own faith in disgraced medical frauds and influencers; who perpetuates discredited and dangerous theories; who is overseeing an unprecedented defunding and dismantling of important public health agencies and programs; who is responsible for billions of dollars worth of cuts and disruptions to scientific research, including research into life threatening illnesses like HIV, cancer, ALS, diabetes, and infectious diseases.
This administration—and RFK Jr. in particular—has been singlehandedly responsible for undermining trust in public health and medical science, especially during disease outbreaks. Science has become politicized by the right.
And as a result, we are witnessing a crisis of incompetence take form at nearly every level of government, one that experts say will lead to increased mortality and worsened health outcomes.
And even while RFK Jr. was literally submerging himself in fecal matter, it didn’t stop his “MAHA” fanatics from denying legitimate science while insisting that their ass-backwards and misanthropic views about medicine, biology, diseases, science, vaccines, etc, are more informed than the leading and relevant scientific research on the matter.
