Damn if you don’t have rock solid legal status, you gotta avoid anything Federal, especially flying, until the madness is over. Would love for a judge to order her back but this adminstration ignores such orders.

Justice and safety for me, not for thee. The whole effing mindset. It goes beyond normal human incompetence and lands squarely in the land of cruelty.

    > According to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, an immigration judge ordered Lopez Belloza deported in **2015.** Pomerleau said she wasn’t aware of any removal order, however, and the only record he’s found indicates her case was closed in 2017.

So they decided to ship her off to Honduras based off an Obama-era deportation order that may or may not exist?

    > The day after Lopez Belloza was arrested, a federal judge issued an emergency order prohibiting the government from moving her out of Massachusetts or the United States for at least 72 hours. ICE did not respond to an email Friday from The Associated Press seeking comment about violating that order.

ICE has become an entity superior to the courts, I guess. Congrats, conservatives, you’ve destroyed the Constitution you claim to masturbate so intensely over.

Because nothing says “American dream” like crushing the dreams of a fresh-faced young person. So disgusting.

  5. So its ok to pardon a drug trafficking ex Honduran president, but college Honduran kids got to go? Nobody else seeing these stories being released back to back?

Why are illegals still acting like they are legal?  These people dont understand that any federal agents will arrest them and deport them.
This girl has no ID, no passport, no nothing and she ignored her legal status and went through an airport which checks your background and your ID.

Trump is nuts and they still ignored a court order, but she risked everything to go through airport knowing she was illegal.
Somehow she was in university and still risked everything for one weekend.

I dont even know how she was paying for a shitty for-profit private college that charges $60K a year in tuition + room and board.  She had no fafsa and no loans.  4 years of going there is $300K.  That is insane.  A normal prestigious state university will be under $100K for 4 year with room and board.

This is abhorrent and shouldn’t be the case, but if you’re in the same boat as this student you do not fly or go anywhere where you’re easy pickings for deportation. This has been going on for months now, best play it safe.

This is a lawless administration and they will not stop with immigrants. Be vigilant, we’re not even through year 1
