That’s good! I will need a giant bag of popcorn while I watch giant corporations attack the giant corrupt government they helped create.

If the tariffs are invalidated by the court, and refunds are given, how will companies that passed the added costs onto customers be expected to deal with this?

hahaha. jk they just get to keep it as profits, right?

  3. A lot of Costco prices remained the same even with the tariffs. So I don’t necessarily think they took advantage of it like a lot of the other douchebag companies.

I buy stuff for the government with tax dollars. I pay the tariffs, an American tax, with American tax dollars. We are now paying tens or hundreds-of-thousands of dollars in tariffs alone on single items (usually specialized equipment). Literally using tax dollars to pay more taxes. It is killing budgets and a useless waste.

  5. The audacity of the White House to be like ‘calling our illegal thing illegal’ is gonna be expensive is just the pinnacle of the trollistocracy we are subjected to daily

  6. Consumers gonna be getting their money back from price increases? are they going to lower prices if they win?

  7. Wouldn’t this work against them?

If the judges are weighing if the economic consequences are too severe to rule against the tariff won’t the ongoing litigation make it easier for them to just throw up their hands and side with Trump.

Especially when they know there is little chance of them ever getting a refund regardless.

  8. I wish the nearest Costco wasn’t a 3 hour round trip. After today, I’m starting to wonder if it might be worth it anyway
