Democrats on House Oversight Committee release photos, video from Epstein’s private island

House Democrats on the Oversight Committee on Wednesday released photos and videos from a private island in the Caribbean that Jeffrey Epstein once owned, shining new light on what was once the epicenter of the late convicted sex offender’s decades of abuse of young girls and women.

The release includes 14 images and videos.

Is CNN going to show us said photos and video?

The images and videos show several bedrooms, bathrooms and what appears to resemble a dentist’s chair in one room with masks on the wall, as well as a landline telephone with first names written on the speed dial buttons, including Darren, Rich, Mike, Patrick and Larry.

Multiple videos capture the opulent grounds of a home resembling a luxury resort, featuring a swimming pool, palm trees and a winding path overlooking the ocean. One photo appears to capture a study featuring a blackboard: Scribbled on it are words like “power,” “deception,” “plots” and “political.”

A Democratic committee aide told CNN that the photos and videos released by the committee on Wednesday have previously never been made public, and were all taken from Little St. James Island in the US Virgin Islands. There are several redactions in the images of the phone and the blackboard – the aide said any women’s names were redacted out of an abundance of caution.

Aren’t we supposed to get files?

So this is nothing? Unless someone can conclusively show who Darren, Rich, Mike, Patrick and Larry are. Idk man they’re going to feed us just enough to let the imagination run wild but they will probably give us nothing actionable.

What the fuck are they doing? If they have damning evidence, release it. I’m beyond sick of these games.

Anyone remember when Epstein was arrested in ’19, someone flew drone over his island home and posted the pics and vids on the internet. The interesting thing about them was that A) the place appeared ransacked, B) the FBI had yet to search the island.

Why are all the names redacted. This is BS and not transparent

Let me guess, a few palm trees, a couple of faceless individuals, and a bit of ocean.

The fact that people are eating this up blows my mind. They’re basically fucking with people at this point, just trickling things out like this. If you’ve got evidence, then fucking release it…*regardless* of who is in it (obviously need to censor the victims faces and names).

This means there is nothing in there that will take down trump, unfortunately.

Why are names even redacted on the phone and on the blackboard? Did he have victims on speed dial, or someone who hasn’t been indicted yet? It baffles me even the sketch on the blackboard is redacted.
