*The MAGA base is turning on Donald Trump over the cost of living crisis, which nearly half of Americans say is the worst they’ve ever seen, a stunning opinion poll reveals.*
*A staggering 46 percent of all Americans say soaring unaffordability across the United States is firmly the responsibility of the Republican president, the Politico survey found.*
It hurts, don’t it.

But 75% of them still can’t rub their two functioning brain cells together hard enough to NOT vote for him.

He promised my gas prices would go down, I’m still paying the same that I was four years ago, though it slightly got a little more expensive.

It’s not just the prices. Inflation is no big deal when income keeps up. But Republicans have fought tooth and nail to make sure cost of living has outpaced wages for decades and Trump is accelerating that.

When Trump says that his economic polls “are way up with smart people” is he referring to all those smart Coastal elites?

You think they got sick of sucking off a serial child abuser or just sick of being robbed blind by the child molesting billionaire class?

Untrue. Just ask anyone who spent Thanksgiving with their Trumper parents.

Wow, groundbreaking. Even the people who worship him are feeling the squeeze enough to admit the sky is blue. Maybe wait until they actually vote differently before we call it “devastating.”

I’d like to think this might help them understand that all these skyrocketing prices have been almost entirely due to greed, with the added burden of Sleepy Don’s tariffs, but I know MAGAts aren’t capable of learning and will just revert to blaming Democrats again eventually

Ouch, that’s rough. Even the base is feeling the pinch. Economic issues really hit home, no matter who you voted for.

It’s not hard to figure out… even the most uneducated of the bunch should know what Trump has done. A large can of coffee I paid around $10 for in 2024 is know a bit over $21. He’s taxing citizens to line his own pockets.

Trump is a failure. His second term will be worse than the first disaster. Time to remove him. He is not fit for office.

Earlier this year (April or thereabouts) I recall reading an article about trump supporters who said they had no problem with tariffs and rising prices because they knew it was short-term and trump was always right and knew what he was doing.
That journal should do a follow-up with those trumpers.

I saw an ad on TV a couple weeks ago for one of those heart checkers, it was $79. Then I just saw same ad, “Black Friday Sale” $99 (reg $129)
I always thought stores jacked prices up to then claim reduced prices are “sales”, whelp, suspicion confirmed.

I think the bigger story here is 54% don’t think he’s responsible for the economy today, and 63% of republicans believe everything is just fine and dandy.

And they would vote for him in a Constitutionally Illegal 3rd term.
